Delhi now has one more fashion pit-stop called Royal Rivaaz by Arjun, a trusted name in Indian fashion industry which has been serving Bollywood and other top corporate honchos for decades. The brand, already has five outlets in Mumbai, and recently launched its first branch in Delhi, at the city’s style-hub, South Extension. With traits such as, excellent craftsmanship and high attention to intricate detail work, Royal Rivaaz has carved a niche for itself.
Brainchild of Krishna Kumar Nair ( Owner) explain, the brand specializes in contemporary, rich ethnic Indian men’s and women’s wear. Bridal lehengas, sarees, chaniyacholis, bandhgalas, sherwanis, achkans and jodhpuris are just a few items that are worth mention. Just like its siblings stores in Mumbai, the store in Delhi is a one-stop fashion outlet. Outfits put on display are all designed inelegant styles and cut from richly woven fabrics. Crafting flawless garments with perfect cuts and stitch is an art that has now become a habit for Arjun, who decided to introduce a wide range of designs with a slight touch of tradition for the Delhi audience. The brand known for its immaculate heavy design work has experimented with different kinds of Maharaja Shervanis which are on display at the store. “Our Maharaja Sherwanis have set a bench mark in high fashion embroidery, and we as a brand challenge that the embroidery can’t be recreated,” says Arjun.
Stating the reason he proceeds, “The stones and detailing done by the duo are reserved to their factories and the materials used are imported from Vietnam, Turkey and Egypt.” Arjun also claims that the most expensive Sherwani designed by Royal Rivaaz was for a whopping 1 crore, with real expensive stones and diamonds stitched on.
